She started Insurance in London, in 1965 as an Underwriter and, following her return to Nigeria in 1976, worked for several major Underwriters, until she joined the Board of International Loss Adjusters in 1992, following the demise of her husband, Mr. Amos Temowo, who was one of ILA’s founding Partners.  Mrs. Temowo is well respected by all arms of the Nigerian Insurance industry and lends a different perspective to the normal functions of Loss Adjusting. 	Mr. Bola Temowo - Chief Executive Officer 'Bola holds a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Public Admin Degrees from the University of Lagos [1982 & 1985]. He is an Associate of the International Institute of Loss Adjusters, [AIILA]; and a Fellow of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria[FILA]. He is also a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London [FCII] & Nigeria [FIIN] and International Federation of Adjusting Association [FIFAA]. A Chartered Insurance Professional [CIP], Canada. Bola also completed a certificate programme in Risk Management from the University of Toronto in Ontario, Canada and was admitted as a member of the Canadian Risk Management [CRM] Society by the Global Risk Management Institute Inc .[GRMI]. Bola is an Alumnus of Lagos Business School. He successfully completed a two-year Fellowship Programme sponsored by Rockefeller Foundation/LEAD International on Leadership and environmental issues. The son of late Amos Temowo, he joined International Loss Adjusters in 1995, following the footsteps of his father and providing continuity to the Company. He commenced his career in insurance in 1982 with Hogg Robinson Nigeria, before joining Crusader Insurance Plc. He also worked at T.A. Braithwaite & Co. and ACEN Insurance Co. Limited where he resigned as Deputy General Manager in 1995 to join International Loss Adjusters [West Africa] Limited. Bola is a Council Member and past President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, has chaired various committees including Education, Activities, Fellowship Assessment, Membership/Professional Committee. He was also the Chairman of the Insurance Industry Consultative Council [2014]. He was the Regional Vice President [Africa] of the International Institute of Loss Adjusters, Inc.[USA] [2010 to 2016] and a Past Chairman of the Governing Board of the College of Insurance and Financial Management. He has presented several technical papers on Insurance and related subjects in Nigeria and overseas. Bola is very much at home in the Property and Casualty Insurance Claims, Business Interruption and Engineering Claims. An avid golfer, he was a past Captain of Ikeja Golf Club, member of Ikoyi club 1938, Lagos Country Club and Abeokuta Golf Resort.
